2008 ford ranger air intake?

i have a 2008 ford ranger and was looking at cold air intakes and for my model there pretty much 300$ evan on ebay so i checked under the hood and there is on the stock intake 1 maf right befor the ar box and 2 other sensors or one maybe for the oil witch are near the engine top of the intake tube so i was thinking can i just buy a air cone and take the stock air box out and put it in? but what would i do with the maf senor? is have to add a tube of some kind any suggestings? then put the cone on the end so what can i use as the tube? and what do i do with the maf ?
