Did the GOP think they could prevent Obama from getting healthcare reform?

The Democrats have had enough members to p anything they wanted. Republicans did not stop page of any bill. It has been ( rightly) the thinking members of Congress ( rather than the "feeling" ) that have stopped this. The Party you belong to should not matter whej it comes to what is right and smart..
