The correct sequence would have been to have any orthodontics done, to correct your overbite, first. Seeing as you now have composite veneers (they will not last as long as porcelain veneers) some decisions will have to be made. If you are serious about having some orthodontics done, I would see an orthodontist first to let him plan a treatment plan considering that you have the veneers already. You will then have an idea what would be involved as far as time , money, and the state of the veneers. good luck.
